After he sent the inital order he send us all an email explaining that there's a few modifications and he'll be sending us another package of some screws and a bracket, free of charge. I haven't received it yet, probly because he lives on the east coast and I'm all the way out here in Hawaii. So since my temp plates exprired like 2 months ago (got my sales man to give me another temp plate when the first ones expired) I had to put the plate on ASAP. His first set of screws that he sent us is too long for the top of the license mount so until I get the shorter screws he's sending I'm putting some felt stickers between the screw and bumper. However, there's only 1 slight drawback I found and that would be the plastic license plate mount. It cracked a little when I was trying to put the nuts on the back of the screws to mount the license on it. But it didn't effect the overall look and it didn't support the plate any less. Overall, I'd recommend this product. clokwork isn't trying to pull a fast one on anyone, he's delivered what he promised and he makes sure he tries his best to allevate any concerns of his customers.

If you didn't buy this product yet, don't worry about the screws being too long. He's fixed that with his latest orders. I'm sure the others that ordered the g-plate will get those pictures up before the package arrives here. I just wanted to share my experience.

Yup, no problem. Would love to come out for the next meet, whenever that is. Went driving all the way from town to Pupukea today and the plate was just fine.

I have yet to put my bracket on. I finally received the support brace but not the longer screw. Unfortunately my bracket is still in pieces. But hopefully soon I'll get it on there. Will leave feeback when that's done.

Seems odd that folks keep saying "great service", yet they were sent with screws that were too long, still needed some sort of support bracket, and one had cracked acrylic (as I suspect, not a good choice for external auto use). Glad I didn't bother.

Just curious, but has anybody heard from clokwork? I've been PM'ing him for the last couple of days as to if my Gplate has been sent and have yet to get a reply. What's up?

I got mine a while back and got lazy and didn't install till today. I'll get some pics up once I get the longer screw for installing the support brace. Great contact has been kept thru e-mail... try e-mailing him because I don't think everyone hangs around the forums all day.

PS: No broken anything so far except for screws that seem to be a bit long... but he sent me the new ones a few days ago.

I haven't got my license plates yet but here's a pic of the license holder. I got it yesterday. Not sure why I got 3 diff size screws... I would have thought the 4 that hold the plate would be the same size, but I'll have to wait until I get my plates to check. I did get the brace though. Also the two metal discs are diff thickness, not sure which one goes where.

Overall I'm happy.

Damn, I have been neglecting this thread. My appologies everyone.

Thank you soo much to everyone showing me support on this. Thank you much!

Everyone with the exception of the last 4 orders should have recieved all of their parts by now definitely. There have been a total of 16 orders.

All Screws and brackets should be there. I hope I answer all questions here:

When I sent the very first 4 out, I had a design change and sent the additional piece and screws to them. From there on, the remaining orders all had what they should have come with:

Acrylic plate
8 nuts
2 half in screws
2 3/4 in screws
Tow Hook Adapter
2 washers
aluminum bracket

If there is Anyone that has not recieved their materials that should have by now, PLEASE let me know. I know for sure that everything has been sent out though.

The center screw size was changed to take care of the distance added with the bracket.

The bracket was added to assure that during absolutely no weather/wind/speed conditions that the screws would not rub. I had it on my car without the bracket ever since I made it and never had a scratch, but it could have been a liability problem.

please let me know if you have any mroe questions here, I will add this thread to my watch list.

thanks

p.s. this is what the final product looks like and what everyone should be up to speed on.
